1 Test standards for burning test
The design parameters of mineral insulated fireproof cable are strictly in accordance with the British BS6387 standard, as well as the IEC standard of the International Electrotechnical Commission. These technical parameters have passed the special tests of the State Fire Administration and the National Fireproof Building Materials Quality Supervision and Inspection Center respectively.
Since the fireproof cable is all composed of inorganic materials (metallic copper and magnesium oxide powder), it will not cause fire itself, and it is impossible to burn or fuel combustion, because the melting point of copper is 1083℃, and the melting point of magnesium oxide is 2800℃, so this kind of cable can continue to keep power supply in the case of fire close to the melting point of copper, and it is a fireproof cable in the real sense.
