The aluminum alloy is the product of professional metal smelting factory. Its advantages are as follows.
Good mechanical, electrical and anti-creep function.
The alloy material and annealing process of the said conductor reduce the tendency of "creep" of the conductor under heat and pressure, and the creep resistance improves 300% compared with pure aluminum, avoiding the relaxation problem caused by cold flow or creep.
Good tensile strength and elongation
Aluminum alloy conductors, due to the addition of special ingredients and the use of special processing technology, the tensile strength greatly improved, and elongation progressed to 30%, flexibility higher than copper by 33%, 40% lower elasticity separately.
Perfect thermal expansion coefficient
The coefficient of thermal expansion is used to calculate the dimensional variation of the material when the temperature changes. The said coefficient of aluminum alloy is appropriate for copper, and aluminum connectors have been reliably used for copper and aluminum conductors for many years, and which is also suitable for aluminum alloy. Therefore, the expansion and shortening of aluminum alloy conductors and articulators are identical.
Excellent Articulation function
Electrical connections made of aluminum alloy are as safe and stable as their copper counter partners. The composition of aluminum alloy greatly improves its articulation function, and when the conductor is annealed, the increased iron occurs with high strength creep resistance, which ensures stable articulation even during long-term overload and overheating.
Better self-weight carrying capacity
Aluminum alloy improves the tensile strength of pure aluminum, it can bear 4000 meters length of self-weight while only 2750 meters for its copper counterpart. This advantage is particularly prominent in the wiring of large span construction (such as stadiums).
Good anti-corrosion function
The inherent corrosion protection of aluminum stems from the formation of a thin, fine oxide layer when the aluminum surface exposed to air, which is particularly resistant to all forms of corrosion. The addition of rare earth elements in the alloy further improves the corrosion resistance of aluminum alloys, especially electrochemical corrosion. Aluminum's ability to accept harsh environments has led to its widespread use as a conductor in cables within trays, as well as in many industrial components and containers. The occurrence of corrosion is generally related to the articulation of different metals in a wet environment, and appropriate protective measures can be applied to avoid corrosion, such as the use of lubricants, antioxidants and protective coatings. Alkaline soil and certain types of acidic soil environment has a greater corrosive effect on aluminum, so the aluminum conductor laid in direct burial should use insulation or molded sheath to avoid corrosion. In environments containing sulfur, such as railroad tunnels and other similar locations, aluminum alloy is much more resistant to corrosion than copper.
Nice flexibility
Aluminum alloy has a good bending function, and its common alloy formula and processing process make the flexibility improve greatly. Aluminum alloy is 30% more flexible than copper, and 40% less recoil than copper. The bending radius of general copper cable is 10~20 times the outer diameter, while it is only 7 times for the said alloy cable, which is simpler for terminal connection.
Wonderful armored characteristics
Most of the commonly used domestic armored cables use steel belt armor, which has low security level and poor resistance to external destructive force, and it is easy to cause breakdown, and the weight is heavy and the installation cost is high, plus the corrosion resistance is poor and the service life is not long. The metal chain armor cable developed by us according to the American standard is made of aluminum alloy with chain armor, and the chain structure between the layers ensures that the cable can be subjected to strong external destructive force, and even when the cable is subjected to large pressure and impact, the cable is not easily pierced, which improves the safety function. At the same time, the armored structure makes the cable isolated from the outside world, even in the case of fire, thus it improves the flame retardant and fire resistant level of the cable and reduces the fire risk factor. Compared with traditional steel belt armor, aluminum alloy belt armor structure is lighter in weight, easier to lay out and can be installed without bridge, which can reduce the installation cost by 20%~40%. Different outer sheath layer can be selected according to the different application places, which offers more extensive applications for armored cable.
Tight pressure characteristic
The alloy conductor developed by us has not only improved the material function, but also made a big breakthrough in the manufacturing process. The conventional pressing skill enables the pressing coefficient to reach 0.93, and the pressing coefficient of shaped wire can reach 0.95, which is the advanced one in China. Through the maximum pressure, we can compensate for the shortage of aluminum alloy in volume conductivity, so that the stranded conductor cores such as solid conductors, obviously reduce the outer diameter of the cores, improve the conductivity of the function, the conductor outer diameter is only 10% larger than the copper cable under the same load capacity.
